What is an Appraisal for a Technical Hedging?
THE APPRAISAL THAT DETERMINES THE CURRENT ASSET VALUE BEFORE THIRD PARTIES
It determines the market value of properties that make up the assets of Insurance Companies, Collective Investment Schemes and Pension Funds with a regulatory, supervisory and transparent purpose before third parties with interests in these entities.
These appraisals are regulated in Spanish Order ECO/805/2003, in particular, Art. 2:
b) Determining the fair value according to Section 4 of the land registry rules and second value of the second part of the Accountancy Plan of insurance and reinsurance companies adopted by Spanish Royal Decree 1317/2008 of 24 July and determining the asset value according to Art. 68 of Spanish Law 20/2015 of 14 July on the regulation, supervision and solvency of insurance and reinsurance companies.
c) Determining the assets of the real-estate collective investment schemes regulated in Spanish Royal Decree 1309/2005 of 4 November that regulates the regulations of Spanish Law 35/2003 of 4 November that governs Collective Investment Schemes.
d) Determining the real-estate assets of Pension Funds regulated in Spanish Royal Decree 304/2004 of 20 December that adopted the Regulations on Pension Schemes and Funds.
