Summary of the Report

In 2018, the Spanish and Portuguese economies grew over 2%.

2019 is set to be another healthy year for the different real-estate segments in Spain and Portugal, although the forecasts point to more moderate rates than the previous year.

House prices rose 6.6% in Spain and 9.3% in Portugal (y-o-y Q4 2018). The sales increase was also steeper in the Portuguese market (16.6% vs 9.3% in 2018)

The investment volume in Spain was triple the figure registered in Portugal. The Yields in Spain were in the range of 2.8% to 6.0% for the different segments, whereas Portugal was between 4.1% and 6.3%.
