According to INE forecasts, in the next 15 years the number of households in Spain will increase by almost 3 million, with the particularity that in 2027 the number of single-person households will occupy 30% of the total with 6.5 million households, followed by 2-person households with a weight of 32% of the total, making evident the downward shift in the average household size for the coming years.

La evolución de los registros de visados de obra nueva en vivienda por parte de los Colegios de Aparejadores y Arquitectos Técnicos, en los últimos 16 años ha supuesto un promedio anual de casi 92.000 visados, mientras que las estimaciones del INE apuntan a una generación neta anual promedio de hogares de unos 183.000, lo que evidencia el “gap” que existe en este campo.

The number of long-stay nursing and residential care beds at European level and in the absence of Eurostat data for 2021 has not undergone significant changes compared to 2020, being in some cases lower, which increases the lack of product to meet the increasing demand.
