Over 50 indicators of the Spanish economy and real-estate sector

Here is the 49th issue of our GIX Report where we share the reality of the Spanish economy and real-estate sector every month.

The Spanish economy shows continuity in most of the economic indicators, with output growth above that of our European neighbours. Spain’s productive structure, based on a notable weight in the services sector, is different from the more industrial structures of other countries such as Germany and Italy.

The inflation figure seems to be around 2%; we will have to wait to see how it behaves after the Christmas and winter period due to the use of energy, but also to observe the behaviour of the underlying, less volatile inflation rate.

If in the short to medium term the ECB maintains its monetary policy of lowering rates, consumption will continue to be attractive. There are concerns about public spending and tax pressure, as well as uncertainty about the legal object of the rules affecting the real estate sector.
